December 2008
And we raise our heads...
And we raise our heads to meet their gaze
Their intentions all too clear upon their face
They attempt to intimidate us with force and frustration
But we show no fear toward their manipulation
Left alone, left behind
With every hit and bruise they throw
Don't be misled, it gets harder not to show
The evil they desire will rush from our eyes and within
And soon we'll have hurt enough to wish we were dead
Stars and blood surround us
Memories of the sun to hold onto
Don't give up on us
Please not yet
'Cause we dare not give up on you
And we dare not cry in from of them
At least not now, it's all we have, we can't give in
We can try to stay strong in hope that you will remain stronger
An inner civil war, weakness held back longer
How much longer?
Stars and blood surround us
Memories of the sun to hold onto
Don't give up on us
Please not yet
'Cause we dare not give up on you
We dare not
If I'm unlucky
Remember this is bigger than me
Let that move you on
Don't give up
Stars and blood surround us
Memories of the sun to hold onto
Don't give up on us
Please not yet
'Cause we dare not give up on you
Don't give up on us
...not yet

The barrel is your mouth and the trigger is your love.
I'd kiss your lips and ignite that powder and die,
Just to know I'd be happy if I was alive.

You get what everyone gets. You get a lifetime.
When life gives you lemons, throw them at the asshole nearest to you.
